The “band” has been playing a round of radio holiday shows recently, and according to multiple sources, the lead singer is not singing live and the band isn’t even playing their instruments live.

Our source even provided us with the band’s set list from one of the recent radio holiday shows, which indicates when to turn the mic back on for lead singer Bill Kaulitz to address the audience.

Tokio Hotel’s manager has rubbished claims by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton that lead singer Bill has been faking his US tour concerts – and called him an “internet brat“.

 

The spat comes after Hollywood gossip legend Perez Hilton labelled Bill Kaulitz and the band “pathetic” on his world famous blog for not playing and singing live during their recent concerts.
But Tokio Hotel manager David Jost slammed the attacks as utter nonsense: “The band having been playing their butts off. And of course Bill sings live!”

Jost added jokingly: “Anyone who has been once to a Tokio Hotel concert knows that. But perhaps we can profit from rumours to the contrary. If anyone who hasn’t yet been to a Tokio Hotel concert and still doubts that they play live now takes the opportunity to buy a ticket for their next concert, then we might think about employing this internet brat {Perez Hilton} as a concert promoter.”

Whether celebrity guru Perez Hilton will take up this offer remains to be seen…

These young stars ruled 2008 and don’t plan on slowing down in the year to come.

This year we got to know a lot of new faces. We got to meet some teen queens, a brother boy band who aren’t named Hanson, German pop-rock stars and a pair of love-struck teens whose star-crossed love affair made teen girls everywhere want to fall in love with a vampire. We have this group of young people to thank for making 2008 the year that pop music and culture became teen-driven again.

A group of German teenagers, whose lead singer defies gravity thanks to his hairstyle choice, quickly won the hearts of teens throughout the world, including the United States. They won a VMA, got waxed and shared their piercings and tats with MTV News. They’re already hard at work on the follow-up album to their much loved “Scream,” despite their fears that their English just isn’t up to par.

Tokio Hotel are one of the biggest phenomenon in the pop/rock music of the last years. The German group has a unshakeable fan base and always growing up, in the whole planet.

Bill and Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing and Gustav Schäfer are the band that have been giving to the world hits in German and English like “By Your Side”, “Ich bin Nicht Ich”, “Scream”, “1000 Meere” or the biggest one “Monsoon”.

A live show involves a lot of emotions and feelings, still what is the most important moment of a show for you guys?

Bill: The moment when you walk on stage – that’s the moment where you get the first reaction and feedback. That’s when you immediately know if that show will be a great show

What was the most stressful situation you ever experienced live on stage?
Daniela Marques, Ribeirão Preto – SP – Brazil
Bill: For me personally it was the situation during our last European tour when I recognized that’s something wrong with my voice. That was terrible. But as you know we might be the most nervous band in the world before we go on stage. We go crazy and it’s every time the same, cause you don’t know what will happen when you go out there – (laughing) it’s like a blind date, every night.

Have you ever thought on performing in an African country?
Jacqueline Jenice de Oliveira Azize, Maputo – Mozambique
Tom: We would love to play everywhere, so it would be definitely great to perform there aswell.

Would you like to spend your holidays in Portugal someday? And if so, where?
Cátia Sofia Nunes Fernandes, Pinhal Novo – Portugal
Tom: We love Portugal very much. But when it comes to vacation we all love very small, very lonesome islands, where the sun is always shining and where it’s always warm – far away.

For someone who has it all, what do you still need to be happy?

Bill: All you need is your family and good friends to be happy. And, if you are really fortunate, the love of your live of course!
